Motion (JayMarr)

Who is Motion?

Motion, professionally known as JayMarr, is a Buffalo singer-songwriter, audio engineer, content creator, and entrepreneur whose career spans music, digital media, brand development, and Web3.

Beginning his career as JayMarr, he built an audience through his music and content while developing his craft as a songwriter and audio engineer. His catalog dates back to 2017 and includes projects such as The Experience, The Best of Me, Black List, Alt3r 3Go, the 2024 EP Misbegotten, and the single Pleasure featuring R&B artist Pleasure P. The collaboration has surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify, marking a major milestone in his independent music career.

As his creative work expanded beyond music, JayMarr evolved into the digital identity Motion, combining his experience as an artist, engineer, and creator with entrepreneurship and brand development. Through Motion, he became increasingly involved in Web3 and cryptocurrency communities while helping artists, creators, and businesses develop their brands and strengthen their digital presence.

His background on both sides of the creative process—from songwriting and recording to engineering, content creation, and brand development—has shaped a multidisciplinary approach centered around creativity, ownership, and building sustainable platforms in the digital era.

Today, Motion continues to create music as JayMarr while expanding his work across content, technology, Web3, and entrepreneurship, connecting nearly a decade of creative experience with his broader vision for helping artists and brands build, grow, and own their presence online.
